Frequently-Asked Questions
Before enrollment, your child will undergo a pre-enrollment diagnostic test to determine the most appropriate starting Module. At Math Nuggets, we have students at various levels – some may begin with Modules 1 or 2 for a solid foundation in Model Drawing concepts, while others, who are more advanced, can confidently start with Modules 3 or 4. Our aim is to find the perfect fit that meets your child’s learning pace and provides the necessary support, ensuring they are comfortable and can learn effectively.
Our diagnostic test and free consultation sessions are available on Sundays from 9 am to 12 pm. Please let us know your preferred time to bring your child for the diagnostic test. While your child takes the test (which usually takes 30 to 60 minutes), we can have a discussion. Our center is located at Blk 620, Hougang Ave 8. If you are unable to make it on Sunday mornings, let us know and we will try to accommodate.
The Math Nuggets Problem Sums Masterclass is conducted in-person at our physical centre at Hougang. If you’d like to be informed when we start online sessions, do contact us.
Each masterclass has a maximum capacity of 10-12 students, ensuring a conducive and personalized learning environment.
This masterclass is suitable for every student preparing for the PSLE. It is designed to help students master heuristics skills and understand various problem sums concepts. We simplify complex math concepts into manageable parts for better comprehension.
The PSLE Problem Sums Mastery Programme (Online) is an online programme with pre-recorded lessons for those who prefer self-paced learning from home. The Problem Sums Masterclass is built upon this programme, breaking it down into smaller foundational components and providing more guided practice to enhance learning.
